I am a native Californian, having grown up in Granite Bay back in an era when the livestock outnumbered the people living there. Though I have lived in other locales, this area will always be “home”.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from California State University, Sacramento in 1984. I knew from the first day of my obstetrics rotation in nursing school that I would end up in the OB/GYN field somewhere. Immediately out of college, I worked as an RN in Labor and Delivery at Sutter Roseville Medical Center for seven years, and still cherish memories of tiny lives entering the world, and the families with whom I was able to share a part of their special day.

Looking to expand my horizons a bit, I completed the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program at California State University, San Jose in 1994.

Since then, I have worked as a nurse practitioner in the outpatient setting of women’s health care in the Roseville area. I enjoy all aspects of the women’s health care continuum, from teenagers to menopause. With prenatal care, ultrasounds, contraception, menopause, cancer screening, genetic testing, and the spectrum of preventative health, there is always something new and interesting here that would love to share with you.

When I am not work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two grown sons, and a menagerie of animals. I am also fond of traveling, riding, cycling, gardening, escape-the-room games, and more art projects than I could ever complete in a lifetime.
