Dr. Sweeney maintains a strong interest in both obstetrics and gynecology. She has lectured on screening and treatment of abnormal pap smears, and has experience in the research of ovarian cancer. She has served on quality assurance committees for both Blue Cross and Mercy San Juan Hospital. She is married, and has two sons. In her free time she is an avid skier and enjoys gardening.
